Meet Zeta Nuckolls Anderson
Volunteer. Grandmother.
Fighter for Wyoming.
Roots & Education
I'm a lifelong resident of Crook County, born and raised at the base of the Little Missouri Buttes on my family's sheep and cattle ranch — homesteaded by my grandfather in 1917. I'm the middle of five children, and from an early age I was taught the value of hard work, faith, and community.
I graduated from Hulett High School before attending Casper College, where I earned my associate degree. I went on to earn a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. But Wyoming has always had my heart, and I came home as soon as I could.
Family & Service
I married my hometown guy Gary in 1997. We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters and have been made even richer by three precious grandchildren who call me Amma. Family is everything to me, and securing a future for our families is the foundation of why I'm running.
Over the years I've worked multiple jobs and served in multiple roles across our community — a learning coach for Wyoming Virtual Academy, and a volunteer for dozens of organizations, supporting veterans, senior citizens, food pantries, and student groups. I've also served our county Republican central committee as precinct woman and vice chair. I've spent much of my life striving to be a compassionate servant leader, and I intend to carry that same spirit into the legislature.
Commitment to Wyoming
I'm running for House District 1 because Wyoming's best days are ahead of us. Wyoming is a beacon on a hill. Our faith, freedom, families, and way of life here are the most important things to us — and we must constantly be vigilant against their erosion. I'm a fighter, and I will not back down on protecting the Wyoming we all know and love.
This campaign is powered by neighbors helping neighbors. Your donation, large or small, goes directly toward reaching voters across House District 1. I'm asking boldly: please give what you can, gather your friends and neighbors to go vote, and pray for this campaign.
